Anna Bannanas Coffee House Story
We began with a coffee cart in 1993 between Irving and Johnson Street on NW 23rd Avenue in Portland, Oregon. After one cold winter we wanted a place where our customers could enjoy the Northwest's finest coffee and espresso drinks indoors.
We chose the turn of the century house on NW 21st Avenue to create a mellow, comfortable atmosphere away from the chaos of NW 23rd Avenue.
We opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1994 and have been open EVERY day since.
Now we have chosen St. John's as our site for a second shop. In our new place we provide a welcoming spot for children, an expanded food menu and some of the Northwest's finest local beers and wines.
